After five years of building Circolo, I’ve made the decision to wind down the company. Over the past several months, I consulted with advisors and explored multiple paths, including a potential acquisition, but ultimately determined that a sustainable path forward wasn’t viable. Despite meaningful effort and pivots — from fitness and wellness experiences to marketing solutions for hospitality and retail — we faced ongoing challenges in retention, resourcing, and product-market fit. While the outcome is not what I hoped for, the journey has been incredibly valuable. I’m deeply thankful for the support and trust of our investors, customers, and partners along the way. Looking ahead, I’m taking a short break and will then focus on new ventures. With AI reshaping nearly every sector, I’m excited to apply what I’ve learned toward building again in this space. If you’re working on something in AI or adjacent areas, I’d love to connect.
I have loved having a Circolo mirror- what should I do with mine now?
Wish I could have helped more. Good luck with your next adventure
Proud of you for everything you built with Circolo. It takes real courage to build, pivot, and ultimately make tough calls. Excited to see what you create next — the AI world is lucky to have you!
While I know it's not the outcome you hoped for, congratulations on taking a chance on yourself and giving it a go. Enjoy your respite and best of luck writing your next chapter.
