??Anthropic surpasses OpenAI in the enterprise LLM market, while OpenAI's share of enterprise usage is halved. How? 1. Code generation became AI’s first killer app, and Claude won the developers, creating a $1.9B ecosystem 2. Training models as “agents” that can take action makes them far more useful, thanks to tooling integrations and Anthropic's MCP (model context protocol). 3. Post-training with RL is scaling intelligence, moving beyond pre-training Looks like open-source is losing the race, dropping down from 19% to 13% of AI workloads in the last 6 months. Super interesting to see how these trends continue
Also Anthropic has partnership with Amazon bedrock to host it there and a lot of enterprise AI applications care about not flowing the data back to the foundation model companies as training data.
Trust is critical with emergent tech, so far Anthropic has established Claude as the most trusted option. I still try the other major players to stay informed, but always find myself going back to Claude.
Incredible to see how fast the enterprise landscape is evolving. Anthropic’s focus on developer experience is clearly paying off.
I wonder if the class action copywrite lawsuit Anthropic is going through with change this...
Love to see it — from an exclusive Claude user! ??
Interesting.
My bet is that eventually SLMs (open sourced, fine tuned) will win for enterprise use cases. However Anthropic will be the default choice.
