I am pleased to share that I have passed the Exam for AWS Certified Data Engineer - Associate (DEA-C01) from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in my first attempt. This one is not easy for me, I have no previous experience in Data Science. This preparation process is more painful than the Professional and Specialist level AWS certificates. This involves almost all of the AWS databases like Amazon RDS, Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Neptune, Amazon Timestream and etc. , data warehouse like Amazon Redshift and data lake, as well as multiple AWS data analysis services like AWS Glue, Glue DataBrew, Glue Crawler, Glue Data Catalog, Glue ETL, Glue Data Quality, Glue Workflows, AWS Lake Formation and big data services like Amazon Elastic MapReduce(EMR). These services include lots of technologies which I have never used before. Those took me several months to understand them. I once wanted to give up on halfway. After all, I just wanted to expand my knowledge of AWS at the beginning, and never thought about taking the exam for this certificate. However in the end I persisted. This certification is another milestone in my professional career in the cloud. It makes me want to study for my next AWS Certified Exam soon. Would not have achieved it without Stéphane Maarek and Frank Kane on udemy online courses . I followed Stéphane Maarek and Frank Kane's theoretical and practical courses on Udemy, which provided in-depth explanations, hands-on labs, and practice questions. Thanks Stéphane Maarek and Frank Kane #AWS #AWSCertified #AWSCertifiedDataEngineerAssociate #udemy
